Abhyanga 1 therapist (1hr), 2 therapists (½hr) $115
Relax / oliate / correct dosha
A unique ayurvedic massage, designed to relax, rejuvenate and relieve the body of aches and pains. The anointing of specifically formulated herbal massage oil helps to tone the muscles, improve circulation and heal the skin. This marma point massage is ideally performed by two therapists in synchronicity.
Udwarthana Massage (1hr) $130
Elevate / awaken / heat
Warm herbalised oil specifically selected to balance and nurture is gently streamed over your body prior to an indulgent marma point massage which will help release everyday stresses. Customized herbal powders are then sprinkled on the oil followed by an energetic exfoliation. The treatment awakens the cells, removes impurities, improves circulation, improves skin texture and leaves you feeling energized and regenerated.

Stabilizing / strengthening
Beginning with abhyanga massage, hot medicated herbal oil-soaked compresses are added at regular intervals to retain the same temperature. This therapy is continued for 7 to 14 days. Gives pain relief to joints and muscles, stimulates the nervous system and the body and mind becomes buoyant.
Kati-vasti (1 hr) $115
Regenerating/ rebuilding
Being a localized form of treatment, its effects are superior for degeneration of discs which cause back pain, and in the later stages of treatment, the degeneration even starts reducing. The treatment starts with a herbal hair oil massage on the head. Paste is thickly applied around the affected area to retain warmed oil for 45 minutes. The heat of the oil is ensured to be constant throughout the process.
Vatakizhi 1 therapist (1hr), 2 therapists (30min) $145
Anti-inflammatory / nourish
Kizhi means a bundle of herbs. This therapeutic bundle is soaked in warmed medicated oil and applied all over the body with a massage to reduce aches and pains from arthritis, rheumatic joint pain, swelling and sprains. This massage induces perspiration for detoxification. Vata disorders affect joints, muscles and mobility.

Cool or heat / pacify / strengthen
A highly effective rejuvenation technique using special rice that is cooked in milk, tied into boluses, soaked in herbal oil, then skilfully massaged simultaneously by two therapists all over the body for one hour after the Abhyanga. Beneficial for strengthening tissues, body ache, emaciation, anti-aging, rejuvenating, debility, osteo-arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis.
Shiro-dhara (45 mins) $110
Relief / grounding / focusing / inner peace
Beginning with a signature scalp and head massage, warmed herbal oil is pored gently onto the head. in a continuous stream using a special rhythmic swaying movement. This therapy has been used for centuries to pacify the mind and relieve stress. It produces a profound grounding experience and reduces any Vata condition. In times of high stress we recommend a daily treatment for 7 consecutive days. This package costs $700.
Shirodhara with Massage (2 hrs) $250
The feet are annointed in warm rose water and freshly picked fragrant flowers. A full body Marma point massage with specifically blended herbalised Ayurvedic oils will help to release blocked energy and restore vitality. A stream of warm tridoshic oil is poured slowly over your forehead stimulating your (third eye) chakra, calming the nerves and imparting a deep sense of relaxation. The treatment ends with a omshiro ritual (head massage).

Our Marlo Spa signature treatment is a full body ‘oil vichi’. Created by Marlo herself, to reduce an extreme vata condition. Focusing on the vital points and energy flow in the body this treatment helps when your Prana (vital life force energy) needs to be restored. After the Annointing of the Feet a full body Marma point massage with herbalised Ayurvedic oils, performed by two therapists in synchronicity, will help to release blocked energy and restore vitality. Now rest comfortably wrapped while a stream of warmed sesame oil is poured slowly over your body stimulating your chakra energy, calming the nerves and taking you to a deep state of relaxation. You will feel balanced and calm after this nurturing and grounding therapy.
